The IRS-regulated Required Minimum Distribution platform — serving 6M+ retirement accounts and $150B+ in assets — was running on a legacy mainframe that needed to move to the cloud without disrupting a system with real tax consequences for retirees.
Fidelity was launching a suite of crypto funds—FBTC (~$22B AUM), FETH, and FSOL—and required real-time custody and staking reporting across multiple enterprise custodians. No internal system existed to build from, and there was no market equivalent to reference at launch.
Frontier Tech / AI — RAG Documentation & LLM Log-Triage

Platform documentation for the crypto reporting system was manually authored and rapidly falling out of date. Simultaneously, the on-call support team faced 100,000+ monthly distributed failure events with no automated way to cluster or triage them, severely slowing incident resolution during peak failure volumes.
Beyond my own systems, I shape how the organization hires and builds. As a core technical bar-raiser, I design the evaluation rubrics and coding assessments behind 90+ technical interview loops spanning distributed system design, Java architecture, and database optimization — then mentor junior interviewers to hold that same bar.
